Substrate facts

The German Standards require any concrete crack wider than 0.2mm to be repaired prior to coating works. The concrete surface must be free of contaminations. Don’t worry; if your concrete has been contaminated with oil, dirt, etc., we have the right treatments to make it suitable for the application of epoxy, polyurethane or acrylic. If you are planning of applying an epoxy coating to a new concrete, it is important to advise the concreter to NOT use curing agents. We will test your concrete for its moisture content, which shall not exceed 4% at the time of the coating installation.
